The KY-037 High Sensitivity Sound Sensor Module is a powerful audio detection module designed to pick up sound signals from the environment and convert them into electrical signals for microcontroller use. Equipped with a built-in electret condenser microphone and dual output modes (analog and digital), this sensor is ideal for sound-activated systems, voice-responsive projects, and noise-level monitoring.

 

This module is compatible with Arduino, AVR, PIC, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers, making it a great choice for hobbyists, educators, and developers working on interactive or automation projects.

 

🔊 Key Features:

High Sensitivity Microphone: Detects sound intensity and converts it into a corresponding voltage signal

Dual Output Pins:

Analog Output (A0): Provides real-time voltage signal relative to the sound amplitude

Digital Output (D0): Sends a HIGH or LOW signal based on a sound threshold set via the onboard potentiometer

Onboard Potentiometer: Allows you to adjust the sound threshold for the digital output

Indicator LED: Lights up when the detected sound exceeds the threshold (useful for quick visual feedback)

4-Pin Interface: VCC, GND, A0 (Analog), D0 (Digital)

Operating Voltage: 3.3V to 5V – suitable for a wide range of development boards
