The Optical Fingerprint Reader Module Sensor is a compact, high-performance biometric identification device designed for seamless integration with Arduino and other microcontroller platforms. This fingerprint sensor module uses optical recognition technology to accurately scan, store, and match fingerprints for secure access control and user authentication systems.
Equipped with an onboard DSP chip, the 0AS608 handles image rendering, feature extraction, and matching directly within the module, eliminating the need for an external processor. It supports UART (serial) communication and is fully compatible with 3.3V and 5V systems, making it ideal for DIY electronics, smart locks, time attendance systems, safes, and other embedded applications.
