The YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor is a high-precision Hall effect-based flowmeter designed to measure liquid flow rates ranging from 1 to 30 liters per minute. This compact and durable DN15 flow sensor features a standard 1/2-inch (G1/2) inlet/outlet, making it compatible with common household and industrial water systems.
Inside the sensor, a rotor with embedded magnets spins as water flows through the device. The built-in Hall effect sensor detects this rotational speed, converting it into a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate. This signal can be easily read by microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or integrated into smart appliances, irrigation systems, vending machines, and water dispensers.
Ideal for DIY electronics, automation projects, or industrial water control applications, the YF-S201 offers reliable, real-time monitoring of water consumption. With four integrated components handling flow detection and signal output, it ensures stable performance, long service life, and minimal pressure loss.
